Presentation of the School
The School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design is an institution with almost 60 years of experience in teaching architecture and design, and that by Decree 791/2019 announced by Presidency of the Nation in the Official Gazette, distinguishes your building as National Historic Monument, work of the Italian architect and first Dean Enrico Tedeschi.
The FAUD, recognized nationally and internationally for its academic excellence in undergraduate and graduate (continuous training) and in the production of scientific and extensive research through concrete links with the environment, transfers and puts at its service, disciplinary knowledge. This is achieved through the implementation of accredited programs, consolidated and trained academic bodies, and with students and graduates, who generate knowledge and disciplinary solutions to complex problems in the real world.
The FAUD imparts knowledge on its three campuses: Central (1961), Río Cuarto, Cordoba (2006) and San Rafael (2016)
Through the Exploration, Architecture / Design and Landscape axes, it trains upright and ethically committed professionals with social, cultural and environmental values in accordance with the provisions and spirit of the University Statute. The competitiveness of these professionals is boosted from the delivery of a set of theoretical - practical tools with broad orientation, which enable our graduates not only to perform in the local environment, but also to adapt to the conditions that are demanded globally.
Continuous training is available to students, teachers and professionals, through undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs, linked to educational institutions worldwide, offering academic exchanges with more than twenty-five foreign universities.
