ARCHITECTURE, URBAN PLANNING AND DESIGN

The Extension and Liaison department directed from FAUD Central in coordination with the campus Río Cuarto and campus San Rafael, since its creation, has structured its methodologies and procedures in order to guarantee the link with the realities of the community in which it is inserted. This occurs through two strategies: integration with the university functions of research and teaching on the one hand; and the generation of collaborative actions with the socio-productive, technological and environmental, cultural, inter-institutional sectors and public and private organizations on the other, which result in the construction of knowledge as a transferable contribution to the local and international environment.

These strategies are consolidated thanks to the active and increasing participation of teachers, students, researchers and FAUD graduates, who, valuing the importance of the role of the extension agent as being socially responsible and aware of the problems, debates and projections of the environment, puts at the service of society its disciplinary knowledge in a framework of cooperation, for the search for solutions to different needs addressed in the Activities and Projects of Extension and Linkage FAUD.
