Proposal
Updating on the technology applied to technical aids available in our territory is essential to become aware of the new instruments that professionals have and will have at their disposal to carry out their rehabilitation projects more effectively, and therefore, obtain better results, not only from the point of view of motor rehabilitation, but a consequent improvement in the quality of life of the patient, his family environment, and finally, of the whole of society.

Basis
Within the health sciences, one of the least explored territories is the person in movement and their bodily biomechanics, therefore it is necessary to understand how a patient must move to optimize their exercise, sports and energy savings, thus preventing gestures inadequate and future osteoarticular and muscular injuries. Thus to achieve an improvement in sports performance.
The purpose of this seminar is to be able to provide the health professional with updated concepts, work methodologies based on scientific evidence and how knowledge is applied to the patient to reach their maximum sports performance.
Objective
The orientation of this seminar will help the student acquire practical tools to be able to. Evaluate an athlete from his sporting gesture, his gait and his execution biomechanics, update anachronistic concepts about physical exercise and strength, introduce us to concurrent training and give practical notions of sports biomechanics.
Specific objectives
· Provide information on injury prevention and sports biomechanics.
· Update anachronistic or erroneous concepts in movement and injury prevention.
· Inform professionals about which tools are the most suitable to help in prevention and improvement in other sports oriented with current scientific evidence.
Teaching strategies
Two theoretical talks will be given and each one will be addressed after the theoretical with clinical cases of problem solving, creating a two-way debate between students and teachers.

Being a graduate student in any of the health sciences degree courses, being a graduate professional in any of the health sciences degree courses.

Physician graduated from the School of Medical Sciences of the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. He is currently Tenured Professor of Internal Medicine of the 4th. Department of Medicine of the UBA. Director of Teaching and Research of the Hospital de Clínicas "José de San Martín".
Director of the Department of Medicine of the School of Medicine of the UBA. Deputy Director of the Updating Program in Internal Medicine (PROAMI), of Continuous Distance Education. Director of the Distance Medical Education System (SEMCAD) and medical director of the Editorial Médica Panamericana. Member of eleven national and international medical societies and president of the American Society of Metabolic Syndrome (Sasíme). He held the positions of instructor, chief and director in the residence area of different hospital institutions. He was Undersecretary of Medical Education of the School of Medicine of the UBA, Undersecretary of Educational Planning and President of the Commission for Revalidation of Titles. He was Secretary of the Civil Association for the Accreditation and Evaluation of Postgraduate Medical Education Programs in the Argentine Republic (ACAP). He was Head of the Medicine Department of the Hospital de Clínicas of the UBA. He has acted as an advisor or member of commissions on more than thirty occasions in national, provincial, municipal and international organizations. He participated in congresses and academic meetings, undergraduate and postgraduate activities, and acted as a jury. He was President of the 15th International Congress of Internal Medicine of the Hospital de Clínicas. He participated as co-author, author or director of thirteen medical books. The last one is The golden hour in the care of psychiatric emergencies (Edit. FEMEBA, 2017). Among his distinctions are: Extraordinary Visiting Professor of the Catholic University of Salta; Grand Master of the UBA (2010); "Doctor of the Year" (2012), "International Leader of Internal Medicine" (2014); “Ambasciatore dell'italianità”- Buenos Aires Committees (2014); Illustrious Member of the Argentine Society of Medical Journalism (SAPEM, 2013); he has been a member of the Review Committee of the American Journal of Public Health since 2010; Honorary Professor of the Universidad del Aconcagua (Mendoza, 2015); "Minister of Medicine" (2017). He has received thirteen awards for his teaching, scientific and care work.
