ECHO-UM It is a learning space intended for doctors who are in charge of medical guards at public and private institutions. These professionals will have the opportunity to attend online or exclusively in person and carry out the approach to the most prevalent pathologies in the on-call service, which is and will be a reason for permanent study, both due to the changes that occur in the implementation of different standards. as well as in their interpersonal interpretations. It will allow more professionals to have access to updated information on the different pathologies that can be found in emergency services, either due to lack of continuous training or due to difficulty in accessing said information. ECHO-UM provides this TeleEcho in order to achieve an improvement in the care of prevalent pathologies in the emergency service. allowing adequate, timely and effective care, achieving recognition of the severity of the different conditions, since the approach in the appropriate time, the decision to refer to a more complex center and the implementation of therapeutic measures according to the severity, they undoubtedly have a direct impact on the evolution and survival of patients. At the end of these sessions TeleEcho The doctor in charge will have a greater amount of information, tools and experiences from different colleagues, for the treatment of diseases. All this is achieved in a dynamic, participatory way and always taking into account the discussion of clinical cases as the central axis of the conferences.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Discuss clinical cases of prevalent pathologies in the Emergency service based on best practices and scientific evidence, with active participation of all professionals who are in the different TeleEcho sessions and directed by the members of the Hub.

 

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

  • Comprehensive management of prevalent pathologies in the Emergency Service.
  • Unify and protocolize the diagnostic criteria for effective and timely care.
  • Homogenize the treatment approach for different diseases to achieve standardized management and in this way obtain a similar line of treatment among the different doctors who participate in the Emergency service.
  • Provide information and tools according to current scientific evidence.
