General and Specific Objectives

General Purpose

Promote in the dental professional the acquisition of knowledge, skills and surgical skills to be able to diagnose and treat patients who require periodontal plastic surgery on teeth and / or implants.

Specific objectives

Study the macroscopic and microscopic anatomy of the periodontium, the jaws and the adjoining tissues and know how to apply this knowledge in periodontal and implant diagnosis and treatment.

Prevent, diagnose and treat the different alterations of the periodontal and peri-implant tissues

Describe the different soft tissue management techniques for use before, during and after implant surgery, as well as on natural teeth.

Describe the basic surgical procedures: incisions, types of flaps, sutures, etc.

Professional Dentists who want to perfect themselves in the area of ​​Periodontal Plastic Surgery.

To be admitted as a student of the 2023 Periodontal and Peri-implant Plastic Surgery course   it will be necessary:

  1. Photocopy of Dentist's degree
  2. Photocopy of updated registration.
  3. Photocopy of DNI
  4. Malpractice insurance up to date.
