This course aims to approach photography from a holistic perspective, integrating technique, creativity, and design thinking. It seeks to teach students to look beyond the mere representation of an image, to construct a story, a setting, an idea through technique, from a poetic perspective, supported by technical expertise. In this sense, it proposes an active and reflective learning environment that encourages experimentation with diverse visual languages, the analysis of references, and the production of personal projects, contributing to the development of critical and creative individuals capable of engaging with their environment through design and visual culture.
In today's world, shaped by visual culture and the pervasive presence of images in digital environments, photography has become a fundamental tool for constructing meaning and communicating. Photography is one of the primary tools in artistic training.
