Understand the components that support today's cloud computing infrastructure.
Acquire the skills to manage cloud computing infrastructures.

The module is open to the community and aimed at those who are interested in starting conceptually and practically in the Cloud Computing model.

  • Motivations: What Architecture does facebook / google / twitter work on?
  • Onlineization: Concepts, Hardware / network / storage onlineization. Operating systems / containers. NAS / SAN / DAS
  • Onlineization tool with Clustering support: ProxMox
  • Onlineization Cluster. Scaling concepts: N+1, horizontal scale-out, SDN, SDS. Practical Case.
  • Use of Onlineization Cluster: Volumes, Networking, Migration. Practical Case.
  • Cloud Computing concepts.
  • Cloud Computing Tool: OpenStack / Horizon: Components, Volumes, Floating-IPs.
  • Cloud Computing Tool: Horizon. Practical case.
  • Commercial Cloud Computing Tools: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure.
  • Commercial Cloud Computing Tools: Development of a practical case on Google Cloud.
  • Infrastructure as code: Terraform
