Presentation

The Dean of the School of Economic Sciences, Mg. Cont. Carlos Hugo González Moretti, is pleased to announce the launch of the fifth edition of the first University Diploma in Compliance, Corporate Ethics and Integrity Process Management, organized by the School of Economic Sciences of the Universidad de Mendoza.

The course is supported by the academic excellence of the Universidad de Mendoza and for the long history of our house of studies, as well as its tradition and the values that it represents.

Its main objective is to address the issue of corporate ethics with a deep and realistic approach; conceiving this discipline as a new worldview that was born in the business world to expand to all institutional areas of the international community. The Compliance, understood as a discipline with multiple facets, from which regulatory, management, leadership and control tools are developed aimed at improving the ethical culture of organizations and regulatory compliance in a proactive, preventive and unavoidable way; It is the main topic to be discussed in this program.

Throughout its 4 previous editions, this Diploma has evolved as a space for training, dissemination and consolidation of the culture of regulatory compliance and corporate ethics in our community. Following this imprint, in this new edition – the 5th – we update our content, incorporating essential topics highly linked to compliance to our curriculum.

Firstly, we add content of high international relevance such as objectives of sustainable development, environmental compliance and sustainability as a fundamental parameter of institutional ethics. In a world overwhelmed by environmental damage, pollution and climate change, considering sustainability as a guiding principle of institutional culture is mandatory and from the Diploma we seek to create a space for its study and dissemination.

Likewise, we continue to deepen the study of compliance as a necessary tool to improve the transparency and optimization of processes in the public sector; That is why we include essential topics such as transparency in public procurement and public ethics in the course syllabus, incorporating new professors with long experience in the subject.

Faithful to the essence of compliance, which represents a multidisciplinary paradigm and in constant evolution and feedback with other disciplines, we send you this proposal. We invite you to join this new and renewed edition to be part of our Diploma that grows day by day.

Focus and objectives

In this course, an in-depth and realistic approach to the subject of Institutional Ethics is given, particularly Compliance, seen not only as a normative imposition, but as a new business worldview, consolidated internationally and with a view to expanding. to other areas.
