Diploma in Dentoalveolar Surgery

Presentation


Level 1 will have a duration of 10 months organized into 1 and a half semesters with a weekly load of 3 clock hours per month for 10 months, being a total load of 179 (140 face-to-face hours and 39 non-face-to-face hours) clock hours.

It will take place at the School of Health Sciences of the Universidad de Mendoza.

Objectives of the Degree Course


In this course the dental professional will achieve:

  1. Learn to diagnose, plan and perform surgical treatments from minor to major complexity integrated to other disciplines related to endodontics, orthodontics, rehabilitation, etc., through a system that allows treating the stomatognathic system in an integral way.
  2. Incorporate techniques for the execution of maneuvers that allow determining when, where and how dento-alveolar surgeries will be performed according to prosthetic, aesthetic and functional needs.
  3. Train a professional who identifies, diagnoses and treats dento-maxillary pathology, recognizing through perfect diagnostic imaging, the possible treatment for each clinical case.
  4. Incorporate treatment techniques improving dexterity, agility and manual ability for the extraction of retained dental elements.

Recipients


Professional Dentists and Dental Surgeons graduated from National or Foreign Universities who wish to be trained in Surgery.

Requirements


1. Photocopy of the title of Dentist
2. Photocopy of updated registration.
3. Photocopy of DNI
4. Up-to-date malpractice insurance.
5. CV presentation

Days and Times


Second Friday and Saturday of each month starting in August 2025

Schedule: Friday from 9 to 4 p.m and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
