The complexity of health institutions, both due to the incorporation of new technologies, the advancement of knowledge, demographic and epidemiological changes and the recognition of society and people of their own rights, within the framework of always scarce resources, have made of hospital management a multidisciplinary specialty in which all branches of health and administrators, economists, architects, lawyers, etc. converge.
This course aims to study with a broad and multisectoral vision the problems and management tools to obtain the expected results and facilitate the joint and shared vision of all the actors.
The Diploma is organized by the School of Economic Sciences of the Universidad de Mendoza and the Institute of Public Health and Health Management (ISG).
General objectives
- Understand the health context of our environment, the characteristics of medical care and its problems
- Learn the fundamentals of health administration and economics.
- Know the specific tools of hospital management and quality
Recipients
Medical professionals, pharmacists, biochemists, nurses and other branches of health, architects, lawyers, accountants, administrators, economists related to health institutions or interested in joining the activity. A bachelor's degree is required.
