Presentation

The Diploma in Respiratory Kinesiology (No. 106/2025) Its main objective is to train Kinesiology professionals in the inpatient area with orientation to adult patients who are in medical clinic, intermediate and intensive therapy units.

It is indisputable that in recent years respiratory kinesiology within inpatient units has acquired a leading role, offering patients the possibility of early rehabilitation and providing institutions with a better quality of care. Today, an intensive care unit cannot be conceived without a staff of physical therapists actively participating 24 hours a day.

Recipients


Graduated with a University Degree of: Graduate in Kinesiology and Physiatry, Graduate in Kinesiology and Physiotherapy, Physiotherapist, Physical Therapist with a Title or Certificate authorized in the country or abroad issued by a National or Private University, by a competent authority or by a recognized Scientific Society, students of the degree course in Kinesiology who are in their last year of study.

Mode


Blended, synchronous and asynchronous meetings. Coursed through Google Meet and online classroomMoodle. The hospital practices will be carried out in institutions in Mendoza, Rio IV, Rio Negro, San Rafael, Neuquén and Cipolletti.

Objectives


  • Achieve the acquisition of theoretical knowledge to work as respiratory kinesiologists in adult hospitalization.
  • Develop technical skills that allow them to carry out effective treatments aimed at patients in adult hospitalization.
  • Provide tools that allow the development of kinesic activities in inpatient units for adult patients.
  • To determine the kinesic competencies of hospitalization units in the evolution of the most frequent respiratory pathologies
  • Deepen semiology and its implementation.
  • Revalue the importance of anatomy and physiology to understand the pathophysiology of the most frequent respiratory diseases.
  • Establish with scientific evidence the bases and kinesic action.
  • Experience the theoretical framework with real patients who suffer from real respiratory diseases.
