To access the Specialization, the applicant must have a Lawyer's degree or Notary Public whose obtaining is derived from a Curriculum of no less than four (4) years, issued by Argentine Universities of state or private management authorized by the Ministry of Culture and Education of the Nation, or title granted by foreign Universities, certified with the apostille of The Hague, in the corresponding cases.

• Updated and signed Curriculum Vitae, detailing background in research (scientific publications, attendance at conferences, postgraduate courses, conferences, etc.); and teaching background. Proofs are not necessary, except for a photocopy of the postgraduate degrees (Specialist/Master/Doctor).

If you are a foreigner, you must present a certificate of functional proficiency in the Spanish language, where applicable.

If you are in a position to request a tariff reduction or scholarship, you must provide verifiable documentation to support your request.

The selection of students for the Specialization is carried out by the Admission and Management Committee, in accordance with the criteria set out in the current regulations, who may request a face-to-face or online interview.

Students admitted to the degree course have two (2) months to submit a hard copy of their degree certificate (front and back), certified by the issuing institution. If the degree is still being processed, they must submit an original certificate of this fact issued by the corresponding School, and a photocopy of the degree as indicated must be submitted as soon as it is received and always before the end of the course.

The Specialization in Criminal Sciences is a degree course structured in four (4) subjects that comprise various central themes, understood as mandatory contents that, adopting different modalities or pedagogical formats, form a constitutive part of the Curriculum and must be accredited by the students.

• Oral litigation techniques in criminal matters

2. Special Criminal Law

• Updated Criminal Law and new forms of crime
• Deepened Criminal Procedure Law
• Economic and Special Crimes
• Criminal Tax Regime

3. Auxiliary Sciences and Criminal Enforcement

• Legal Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry
• Execution of the sentence
• Criminology

4. Investigation methodology

• Legal research methodology 4.0
• Tutoring and coaching Final Project
• Participation in Congresses, Seminars, Conferences and other activities from the beginning of the degree course (20 clock hours)

The hourly allocation of the Specialization, without counting the time required for the preparation of the Final Project, has a total of 60 CRE, which is equivalent to 1500 clock hours, which is distributed as follows: 360 clock hours (14,4 CRE) of teaching or pedagogical interaction between teacher and students and 1140 (45,6 CRE) hours of autonomous work of the student.

Students, in order to remain in the degree course stage, must:

1. Attend 75% of the classes taught as a requirement for permanence and a prior condition to take the subjects. The justification for non-attendance will be presented to the Graduate Directorate within 48 hours.
2. Comply with the obligations established by the teachers of the subjects and seminars in each case.
3. Comply with the tariff obligations corresponding to the course of the Specialist degree course.

Students in order to remain in the writing stage of the Final Project of the degree course must:

1. To comply with the obligations established by the Tutor.
2. Attend the annual meeting organized by the Postgraduate Directorate,
3. Pay an annual registration fee, the amount of which will be set by the relevant authorities, from the year following the completion of the coursework until the Final Project is submitted to the Postgraduate Secretariat. If extensions are granted for the submission of the Final Project, registration must continue until the project is submitted.

The Specialist degree course has a fee to ensure the financing of its activities. The amounts of these contributions will be approved by the Honorable Superior Council of the Universidad de Mendoza, or the Rectorate, as the case may be, at the proposal of the Dean's Office and updated at the start of the academic year.

Students' tuition obligations to the School begin upon enrollment and cease only when the student completes their degree course or decides to discontinue their studies. Should a student decide to withdraw from the degree course after enrollment, they must inform the Postgraduate Studies Office in writing. Otherwise, they remain enrolled in the degree course and are responsible for paying the corresponding tuition fees from that point forward until the date they have officially communicated their withdrawal.

Universidad de Mendoza It recognizes different types of scholarships, as established by the Regulations for Specializations of the School of Law and Social Sciences of the Universidad de MendozaIn all cases where a scholarship has been granted, the cost of the degree will be waived.

To obtain the Master's degree and title, the following is required:

1. Accredit 75% of class attendance and pass all subjects, seminars and other planned activities.
2. Admission by the Director of the degree course of the Thesis Project in which the topic and the proposed Tutor are approved.
3. Approve the Specialist Final Project
4. Have completed payment of registration and fees.
5. Submit a personal note requesting the issuance of the title.
