New Degree Course with favorable opinion from CONEAU: Minutes of session 563/2022
The School of Law and Social Sciences presents this new postgraduate degree course that is generated by the detection of a need in the specific area of consumer and user law, in the defense of competition and commercial loyalty, which can be addressed academically from the University with scientific, disciplinary and methodological rigor.
The need for systematic training of high-level professionals in this area appears as an urgent task in the current stage that our country and the world are experiencing.
This Specialization is considered necessary for the training of a specialist in consumer law, from a perspective that favors effective access to justice for consumers, this being a fundamental human right recognized in international treaties and with constitutional status, as provided for in Section 42 of National Contitution; all this within the framework of the provisions of Law 24.240, the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation and the Civil, Commercial and Tax Procedure Code of the Province of Mendoza.
The purpose of the Specialization in Consumer Law is to ensure a set of advanced conceptual, theoretical and practical tools, aimed at resolving conflicts faced by consumers and users of goods and services, as well as companies.
