Every October 2nd, Argentine Notary Public Day is celebrated in commemoration of the anniversary of the First International Congress of Latin Notaries, held in Buenos Aires in 1948. This historic meeting gave rise to the International Union of Latin Notaries (UINL), an institution that today brings together notaries from more than 80 countries.
On this date, we pay tribute to those who provide us with trust, integrity, and security in the most significant moments of our lives. Notaries are custodians of public faith, and their intervention is indispensable in numerous legal and commercial acts that require guarantees, legality, and transparency.
From the School of Law and Social Sciences, the Notary Public degree course trains professionals qualified to perform key roles in the legal field. At our institution, several courses in the Law degree course are taught jointly with the Notary Public, sharing faculty, programs, and training spaces. This collaboration allows our notary graduates to have a solid academic foundation, similar to that of our future lawyers.
