The chair of Constructions IV In its sections A and C, they address sustainability aspects in their academic program and with the intention of introducing all stakeholders to the issue of climate change and the role that future professionals will play, especially as main players in the Construction Industry. It is of the utmost importance that they take a deep knowledge of this reality that we live in and that it is necessary to mitigate.

The presentation of studies at the world level is available, but now there are studies at the local level that show the role played by buildings with high energy expenditure and therefore leading the emissions of Greenhouse Gases. The constructions that do not contemplate sustainable aspects are responsible for a greater amount of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

This foundation helps to show how architectural praxis must be situated within the framework of sustainability, tending to generate the desired relationships of equity between society and the economy, of sustainability between society and the environment, and viability between society and the environment.

The conference promoted from the university environment is a means to show the reality outside the walls to students and the general public.

The contribution of the professionals of the Argentine Network of Municipalities for climate change shows the reality produced by anthropogenic actions on the physical environment and its resources, as well as the actions that are already being taken for its mitigation in the country. At the local level, there will be a lecture by professional specialists on the subject from the Municipality of Capital and Godoy Cruz, who will explain the actions taken by both organizations to favor mitigation actions to the problem, in this case directed directly to the buildings.
