Organized jointly by the Universidad de Mendoza The conference, organized by the Juan Agustín Maza University, will take place on September 3 and 4 in a hybrid format. The deadlines for abstract submissions and registration are now open.

The Health Area of ​​our Schools of Health Sciences and Medical Sciences, through its Research Coordinators, invites the entire academic community to participate in the Second Health Research Conference 2026. This important scientific meeting is organized through a joint management effort between the Universidad de Mendoza (UM) and Juan Agustín Maza University (UMaza).

The event will take place on the following days 3 and 4 September 2026In hours 09: 00 18 to: 00 hs. The in-person campus will be the Juan Agustín Maza University (Gran Mendoza campus), but the sessions will also include a hybrid formatallowing online participation and interaction from other regional institutions and campuses.

Target Audience and Objectives

The days are especially intended for teachers and students who are actively participating in:

  • research projects.

  • Bachelor's thesis.

  • Postgraduate thesis.

With the aim of promoting the scientific growth of new generations of professionals, the participation of students as exhibitors, accompanied by their respective research directors, will be strongly encouraged.. Co-authorship will also be permitted in the works presented during the meeting.

Important Dates and Deadlines of the Scientific Committee

Those wishing to submit their research work must adhere to the following schedule established by the organization.:

  • Sending "Early Bird" summaries: Until July 10, 2026.

  • Final deadline for abstract submissions: July 31, 2026.

  • Evaluation of abstracts by the Scientific Committee: From 1 to 20 August 2026.

  • Acceptance notification: From 25 to 30 August 2026.

Presentation Options

Researchers whose abstracts are approved will be able to present in two structured formats.:

  1. Oral Presentations: They will have 15 minutes for their presentation and 5 minutes for questions from the audience.. Digital media will be used (maximum 10-12 slides) and the organization will guarantee the live broadcast of all oral defenses.

  2. e-Poster presentations: It will consist of an online exhibition of a vertical PDF file , lasting 10 minutes plus 5 minutes of questions. A specific time and place will be assigned for the defense and interaction with evaluators..
