This opportunity seeks to complement academic training through the practical application of knowledge in the institutional sphere of MERCOSUR in Montevideo.
Key Dates
Application period: From April 20 to May 22, 2026.
Internship duration: Maximum of 6 months (renewable once up to a total of 12 months).
Workload: Up to 20 hours per week.
Vacancies and Required Profiles
A total of five (5) vacancies distributed in the following areas:
- Communication and Information Unit (UCIM) – 3 Vacancies
Profiles: Students of Communication, Design, Audiovisual, Journalism, Multimedia or Advertising.
Technical requirements: Video editing (CapCut, Adobe Suite), Graphic design (Canva), Writing and social media management.
Languages: Spanish and Portuguese (English desirable).
Modality: 2 in-person vacancies and 1 online vacancy.
- FOCEM Technical Unit – 2 Vacancies
Profiles: Students of Economics, Foreign Trade or International Relations.
Technical requirements: Postgraduate students writing theses on regional integration or candidates with skills in data collection and the creation of tables/graphs.
Languages: Spanish and Portuguese (reading and text comprehension skills).
Modality: Online.
Requirements to Apply
To be eligible, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Being a national of one of the MERCOSUR Member States.
- Be over 18 years old.
- Being a regular student in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course at the Universidad de Mendoza.
- Possess working knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese.

Those interested must submit the following signed documentation to the University:
- Application Form (DISCHARGE).
- Copy of documentation that verifies the information on the form.
- Letter of recommendation issued by a teacher or authority of their degree course, faculty of the Universidad de Mendoza.

Important: The University will be responsible for sending the documentation to the SM.
Additional Information about the Modality
- Face-to-face modality: It takes place at the SM campus in Montevideo. Travel, accommodation, living expenses, and medical insurance are the responsibility of the intern or the institution.
- Online mode: The intern must ensure their own internet connection and adequate technical equipment.
- certification: A certificate of completion will be awarded upon completion, provided that 75% attendance and satisfactory performance are achieved.
