International Women's Day 2026
"There is no limit to what we, as women, can achieve." - Michelle Obama.

On the occasion of its 65th anniversary and on this significant date, from the Universidad de Mendoza Warm greetings are extended to all women, especially those who are part of the university community.

As a Higher Education Institution with a long history, it emphasizes the importance of promoting spaces for coexistence based on respect and free from discrimination, fostering dialogue and training to accompany the path towards equality.

This March 8th, the theme chosen by the United Nations (UN) is “Rights. Justice. Action.” In the context of International Women's Day, the University highlights the value of equal opportunities, inclusion, and the aspiration for a more just society.

Likewise, the fundamental contribution of women in all areas of academic life is recognized: teachers, researchers, students, graduates and management staff who, with their talent, dedication and vocation, have enriched and continue to enrich the educational environment every day of the institutional history.

The academic horizon is geared towards further consolidating an environment where women can fully develop, lead, innovate, and contribute to society. Education is, and will continue to be, the path to respect and equality.
