The complexity of health institutions, both due to the incorporation of new technologies, the advancement of knowledge, demographic and epidemiological changes and the recognition of society and people of their own rights, within the framework of always scarce resources, have made of hospital management a multidisciplinary specialty in which all branches of health and administrators, economists, architects, lawyers, etc. converge.
This course aims to study with a broad and multisectoral vision the problems and management tools to obtain the expected results and facilitate the joint and shared vision of all the actors.
The Diploma is organized by the Universidad de Mendoza (Schooles of Economic Sciences and Medical Sciences) and the Institute of Public Health and Sanitary Management (ISG).
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
• Understand the health context of our environment, the characteristics of medical care and its problems
• Learn the fundamentals of health administration and economics.
• Know the specific tools for hospital management and quality
RECIPIENTS
Medical professionals, pharmacists, biochemists, nurses and other branches of health, architects, lawyers, accountants, administrators, economists related to health institutions or interested in joining the activity. It is a requirement to have a bachelor's degree.

PROFESSORS
The course will be taught by teachers of the Universidad de Mendoza, of the Institute of Public Health and Sanitary Management and external teachers.
METHODOLOGY
The course is blended, with a workload of 250 hours, of which 150 hours are face-to-face with theoretical-practical classes and 100 hours on-line activities. It begins on March 27 until December 4, 2020. Classes will be held every Friday from 3:8 p.m to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., at the School of Economic Sciences and School of Medical Sciences of the Universidad de Mendoza. Likewise, you will have access to the course through a platform, in which you will have the material delivered by each teacher (classes and bibliography) and other activities such as forums and work to be done.
