The rapid advancement of technology and the incorporation of automated solutions present a new paradigm in the educational field. In response to this reality and the need for constant professional development, the Department of Distance Education of the Universidad de Mendoza announces the launch of the second cohort of its Advanced Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Teaching Practice, whose start is scheduled for next August 18th, 2026.
This continuing education program is specifically designed to provide teachers with cutting-edge methodological and technological tools. Its main objective is to equip participants to design, implement, and evaluate AI-mediated learning experiences, enabling their practical, ethical, and effective application directly in the classroom—an essential skill for leading education today.
Target Audience and Course Methodology
The call for applications is broadly open and is aimed at teachers of all levels, teaching professionals and the general public interested in exploring the impact and pedagogical applications of AI.
Taking into account the schedules of today's professionals, the course will be taught under a online format with synchronous meetingsensuring optimal flexibility without losing the value of direct, real-time exchange with experts and colleagues. The program spans a total of 10 months and has a workload of 210 clock hoursIt is worth noting that the program includes a break during the months of December and January, facilitating the organization of the participants.
Investment, Scholarships and Financing
Universidad de Mendoza promotes access to this cutting-edge training through a structured financing scheme in 10 installments of $93.000 (The first 5 installments are fixed, and the remaining 5 are adjustable).
Furthermore, in order to encourage the professional development of its own academic community, a 50% scholarship for staff and teachers of the Universidad de Mendoza (UM).
