The School of Health Sciences (FCS) of the Universidad de Mendoza announces the opening of registration for the University Diploma in Comprehensive Approach to Violence against Children and Adolescents in the Life Center.
This proposal arises in response to the current challenges facing public health, comprehensive protection, and justice systems in the face of a complex and multi-causal social problem. Influenced by social, cultural, institutional, and subjective dimensions, the dynamics of physical and sexual violence perpetrated by responsible adults demand a continuous updating of legal frameworks and protocols for action.
Under a critical, situated epistemological positioning and with a firm focus on gender and human rights, the program aligns with the Convention on the Rights of the Child, National Law No. 26.061 and the guidelines of the province of Mendoza, a pioneer in institutional visibility with Provincial Law No. 6551 and the creation of the Provincial Program for the Prevention and Comprehensive Care of Child and Adolescent Abuse (PPMI).
Authorities and Teaching Staff The diploma program will be directed by Rosario Chahla, Esq., accompanied in the Academic Coordination by the Belén Marsonet, Esq. and Cecilia Vatzlav, Esq.The training program will feature a prestigious interdisciplinary faculty with extensive experience within the PPMI, as well as the participation of special guests who are leading figures in the field, such as... Recipients The training is specifically designed for healthcare professionals, lawyers, and students in related degree programs who are committed to or interested in working with this topic, as well as final-year students in these disciplines. To receive final certification, a minimum of 80% attendance at the sessions and successful completion of a final integrative project are required.
Course and Modality The diploma course will be taught in a format hybrid structured along 5 monthsThe matches will take place on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 08:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (The opening meeting on August 7 will exceptionally begin at 5:30 p.m.).
Fees and Registration The program offers financing options in 6 installments without interest:
