The School of Medical Sciences invites you to the discussion "Breaking Myths: Resilience that has no limits"
The free, in-person event will take place next Friday, April 24, in the René Favaloro Auditorium at the UM Central Campus. It will bring together prominent panelists to discuss the transformative power of resilience from both scientific and lived experience perspectives.

Universidad de Mendoza (UM), through the Postgraduate and Continuing Education Department of the School of Medical Sciences (FCM), announces the holding of the discussion "BREAKING MYTHS: Resilience that knows no limits"The meeting will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the René Favaloro Classroom of the Central Campus.

The discussion has a clear and profound objective: to demystify the idea that age, serious illnesses, or addictions constitute definitive limitations. On the contrary, the activity seeks to highlight resilience as a truly transformative capacity in people's lives, promoting a holistic vision based on both scientific evidence and real-life experiences.

The event is organized by Dr. Pablo Lafalla, Dr. Carlos Gutiérrez, and the Postgraduate and Continuing Education Department of the Faculty of Medical Sciences. The panel will consist of distinguished speakers who will address the topic from diverse perspectives, moderated by Roxana Lopresti.
