New theoretical-practical course: Applied Descriptive Statistics with R

The School of Engineering of the Universidad de Mendoza (UM), through its Continuing Education area, invites the community to participate in the course "Applied Descriptive Statistics with R"This academic proposal of a theoretical-practical nature is designed to provide the necessary skills to organize, summarize and visualize information professionally using R, one of the most powerful and specific programming languages ​​for data handling.

The training will be provided by Mr. Mauricio Ledesma, who will guide attendees in learning this tool from scratch, without the need for advanced prior programming knowledge.

Recipients The course has a cross-disciplinary approach and is aimed at professionals in engineering, health sciences, architecture, law, and economics. It is also open to anyone interested in acquiring solid data analysis tools applicable to their respective fields of work or research.

Course Details:

• Home: To be confirmed (once the minimum number of registered participants is reached).

• Duration: 8 classes, to be held every Tuesday.

• Schedule: 7:00 a 9:00 h.

• Modality: Face-to-face

• Location: Computer Lab of the School of Engineering, Central Campus UM.
