The School of Engineering invites you to the 11th Student Bioengineering Conference
Organized by the Institute of Bioengineering and the TPIBIO chair, the hybrid meeting will present the innovative projects of the 2026 cohort in the Aula Magna of the Central campus.

The School of Engineering (FI) of the Universidad de Mendoza, through the teaching team of the subject Integrated Practical Work of Bioengineering together with the Institute of Bioengineering, invites the entire community to participate in the XI Student Bioengineering ConferenceThe activity will take place next Thursday, June 11 at 5:00 p.m. under a hybrid format, allowing in-person attendance in the Aula Magna of the Central campus and online connection via Meet.

These sessions constitute the final stage of the aforementioned course, the academic forum where each student presents and defends the technological and research work developed during the semester. The professional in charge of the event will be Bioengineer Silvina Moyano.

Exhibition of projects and speakers

In addition to the academic poster exhibition and the special participation of an advanced student and a recent graduate of the degree course, the 2026 cohort will publicly defend their integrative projects:

  • Non-invasive respiratory rate monitoring system based on magnetic transduction: Presented by Milagros Boretto Della Savia and Giovanni Ignacio Simoni Stocco.

  • BioPulse: System for acquiring electrical signals in sensitive plants: In charge of Karen Veronica Ampuero Pucho, Guadalupe Abril Agüero Flores and Albana Freire Luz.

  • NeuroAlert: Lateral electrooculographic recording with preventive alarm: Developed by María Luz Martina Kerchner Biagiotti and Marina Sardi Bottino.

  • Evoked visual potentials: Presented by Fernando Daniel Merino Silvestre and Facundo Martín Gonzalez Cora.

  • Two-channel electroencephalograph: Composed of María Belén Perez Cerutti and Luz María Martin Migliori.

  • + Symmetry: A development by Francesca Chapini Manrique, Florencia Gutierrez and Carolina Ibel Montilla Furlani.

  • Apnea Counter: Designed by Santiago Videau Romano.
