The first stage of the Strategic Plan involved an in-depth survey of the productive, technological, and scientific network of the aeronautical and space sector in Mendoza. This process—which required almost a year of technical and on-the-ground work—allowed us to map capabilities, identify gaps, and assess the true potential of our province.
This workshop marks the beginning of the second and decisive stage: “The collective construction of the public-private Action Plan.”
Its purpose was to define objectives, needs, and concrete strategic lines that would position Mendoza as a competitive aerospace hub at the national level.

Representing the UM were: the Dean of the School of Engineering, Mg. Eng. Osvaldo Marianetti; the Dean of the School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design, Mg. Arch. Sebastián Serrani; and the Dean of the School of Law and Social Sciences and Vice-Rector of the Universidad de MendozaDr. Diego Carbonell. Also accompanying the deans were, from the School of Economic Sciences, Accountant Jardel; from ETEC, its director, Professor Silvia Curadelli, Patricia Furci, and Gema Pont; and Nahuel Quiroga, a student from the Faculty of Engineering. The Workshop Coordinator was Stella Guerrini (representative from the School of Health Sciences), and the following served as panel coordinators: Drs. Valentín Páez, Franco Sileoni, Hugo Bindelli, Santiago Vuanello, and Lucas Calvo (UM graduates from the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences), and Dr. Verónica Fernández, a professor of Legal and Social Sciences at the Faculty of Law.
