Universidad de Mendoza launches the second cohort of its innovative Diploma in Futures Design
Scheduled to begin in April 2026, the 100% online program invites professionals and advanced students to develop prospective skills to anticipate social and technological trends, and lead change strategies.

Universidad de Mendoza (UM) announced the upcoming launch of the second cohort of its Diploma in Futures Design, a unique academic program designed to provide tools for strategic foresight, innovation, and creativity. With classes scheduled to begin in April 2026, the program will be directed by the renowned Professor Marcelo Sapoznik.

The "Futures Design Thinking" (or Design FuturesIt is a discipline that uses imagination and creativity to visualize alternative scenarios. It allows participants to identify emerging trends and understand social and technological transformations, anticipating the possible consequences of current decisions.

The diploma program lasts four months (equivalent to 180 hours) and will be delivered online in a synchronous format. Its curriculum comprehensively covers modules such as signal detection, trend analysis, future scenario building, and creative methodologies such as... Storymakingculminating in a practical integrative project.

This training program is primarily aimed at professionals and advanced students in Architecture, Design, Engineering, Health Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Technology. Throughout the course, students will have ongoing support from tutors, access to recorded lectures for later review, and participate in live presentations by guest experts who will enrich the course content.
