Progress on the joint agenda between EMOS and FAUD

Following the recent signing of the framework agreement between the Universidad de Mendoza-campus Río Cuarto and The Municipal Water and Sanitation Authority (EMOS), both institutions have taken a decisive step in implementing their objectives. Within this framework, EMOS Director Gastón Maldonado held a working meeting with Virginia Volonté, M.Arch., coordinator of the School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design (FAUD), to initiate lines of work that link academic activity with water as a central theme.

The collaboration aims to build a culture of responsible water use, recognizing that the role of future FAUD professionals is key in planning resilient cities that are aware of their local context. Key points on the agenda include the continuation of these joint initiatives.

The Architecture Extension area enhances that the articulation with the municipal public sphere allows a valuable exchange of knowledge, strengthens awareness about this natural resource and reaffirms the commitment to caring for the environment.
