REPI-UM is the producer of digital academic content of the Universidad de MendozaIt is a media literacy tool that aims to reduce the digital divide within the UM community. It is based on two strong pillars: communication and pedagogy. It originated as a research project within the “Packet Radio Station (LU1MUM)” at the School of Engineering.

REPI-UM Radio and Streaming Room

On December 13, 2017, the Honorable Superior Council of the Universidad de Mendoza Through resolution HCS No. 196/2017, it decides to initiate the implementation of this educommunication proposal.

The REPI introduces a new concept in the generation of digital academic content: GOPCs (Content Production Operational Groups). These teams are responsible for creating content using various digital communication languages (audio and audiovisual). They are made up of professors, students, and academic staff who work horizontally and collaboratively.
