UM Tech Talks 2026: The Software Industry Today.
As part of its 10th anniversary, the Universidad de Mendoza – campus Río Cuarto will carry out the academic event “UM Tech Talks 2026: The Software Industry Today”, a proposal promoted by the School of Engineering that seeks to link students with professionals in the technology sector.

 

The event will take place on Thursday, May 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in person, and will be geared towards professionals, teachers, students and the general public interested in the IT world.

The event offers a forum for discussion on key topics in current technology, such as DevOps, Artificial Intelligence, data analytics, blockchain, software development, and cybersecurity. Through technical talks, presentations, and a Q&A panel, attendees will gain insights from real-world experiences shared by professionals working in the industry.

In addition, the day will include networking opportunities that will allow for the creation of contacts between students, teachers and leaders in the regional technology sector.

The activity will be free, with prior registration, and is part of a series of institutional actions aimed at strengthening ties with the community and regional development.
