16th Inter-Chair Conference: Empathic Listening as a Challenge to the Psychologist's Role
The Bachelor of Psychology of the Universidad de Mendoza campus Río Cuarto, will hold a new edition of its Inter-Chair Conference on October 31, focusing on the value of empathic listening in professional practices.

The 16th Inter-Chair Conference from the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the Universidad de Mendoza-Río Cuarto campus, will be developed on 31th October 2025 the motto “Empathic listening as a challenge for the psychologist's role in professional practice”.

The meeting proposes to reflect on the role of the psychologist in an increasingly complex social, economic, and emotional context, where empathy becomes an ethical act and an essential tool for addressing psychological suffering.

During the day there will be supervised professional practice (PPS) discussions in the areas Clinical, Legal, Organizational, Educational and Community Mental Health, with the participation of public and private institutions such as Municipal Health Centers, Medical Institute Río Cuarto, Philippe Pinel Clinic, Nourishing Hope Foundation, Among others.

In addition, they will be presented academic posters which account for the work carried out by students and teachers in different training and practice spaces.

The sessions represent a space for meeting, learning, and commitment to professional practice, reaffirming the importance of building relationships based on listening, respect, and understanding of others.
