16th Inter-Departmental Conference: Empathic Listening as a Challenge to the Role of the Psychologist

The Bachelor of Psychology of the Universidad de Mendoza campus Río Cuarto, carried out a new edition of its Inter-Chair Conference, focused on the value of empathetic listening in professional practices.

under the motto “Empathic listening as a challenge for the psychologist's role in professional practice”The meeting brought together students, teachers, and representatives from public and private institutions to reflect on the role of the psychologist in an increasingly complex social and emotional context.

Throughout the day, discussions were held on Supervised Professional Practices in the Clinical, Legal, Organizational, Educational, and Community Mental Health areas. In addition, academic posters were presented, reflecting the collaborative work of students and faculty in the various training settings.

The conferences reaffirmed the university community's commitment to a professional practice based on listening, empathy, and respect, fundamental pillars for supporting those experiencing psychological suffering and promoting mental health.
