Mobility Programs

Through the mobility programs the students of the Universidad de Mendoza They have the possibility of doing a student exchange for a semester at a foreign university.

Scholarships


Simple coverage scholarship
  1. The student is exempted from paying university fees at the destination University. However, you must continue to pay the monthly fee at UM
  2. The accommodation, food and living expenses are in charge of the student.
  3. These scholarships are offered by all universities in agreement with the Universidad de Mendoza. The student obtains it by choosing one of them, which are specified in the list published at the bottom of the page.
Full coverage scholarship
  1. The student is exempted from paying university fees at the host university. However, you must continue to pay the monthly fee in the Universidad de Mendoza.
  2. Accommodation and / or food expenses are in charge of the host university, which will decide the type of coverage that will be granted to the student.
  3. Only available for Latin America and India.

Requirements to apply


  • Be in at least 3rd year of the degree course; be a regular student and be up to date with the fee.
    • Medical Students They can carry out their mobility from the clinical cycle.
  • Have - at the time of applying - 50% or more of the subjects taken approved.
  • General average (without deferrals) of at least 8 points (scale from 1 to 10).
  • International foreign language certification; at least Level B1 for non-Spanish speaking universities. Foreign universities may require international examinations.
  • Having compulsorily passport up to date. The student who does not have this current document will not be able to apply.
  • Commit not to renounce the place won, in case of being favored.

Steps to apply


  1. Terms and Conditions to apply for outgoing mobility.
  2. Read carefully the List of Universities and select the three universities to which you would like to apply and place them on the Form in order of priority. Understanding that the assignment of the destination university to carry out the mobility will depend on the academic status of each student.
  3. Complete the Form of the Universidad de Mendoza to apply for a mobility position. The student who attaches a file contrary to the one requested will have their application canceled. In this form you must attach:
  • Scanned valid passport.
  • 5×5 photo of the face, white background.
  • Updated CV.
  • Motivation letter: Addressed to UM International Relations, where you explain the reasons why you want to carry out this mobility program.

The universities are organized by country, with all the degree courses that are taught there, detailing the number of places available, type of mobility allowed and clarification in the case of PFO for medicine and Architecture Thesis.

  1. Sathyabama University: possibility of accommodation scholarship. *subject to final approval by Sathyabama.
  2. To Architecture Thesis Project and Professional Practices of any degree course abroad, previously consult available universities.

Double Degree – Bachelor of Psychology

  • To be exempt from disciplinary sanctions at the time of application and during the course at the foreign institution.
  • Conduct an interview with the Student and Teacher Guidance Service (SOED).
  • Must have a valid passport. Students without a current passport will not be eligible to apply.

Obtaining a dual degree


Once the application process is completed in the Universidad de Mendoza (UM)The student must begin the corresponding procedures to obtain the Double Degree with the Universidad Simón Bolívar (USB) in Colombia.

Requirements to apply for a dual degree

  • Complete application at the UM: Complete the administrative process at your home university before starting the procedures at USB.
  • State Tests – Saber Pro: During their stay at USB, UM students will need to present the Colombian State Tests (Saber Pro) and cover the associated costs.
  • Bachelor's degree/graduation certificate: Submit an authenticated copy of the high school diploma and/or graduation certificate, or its equivalent abroad, duly apostilled or legalized by the Colombian Consulate in the country of origin.
  • Approved curriculum: Having completed and passed the USB curriculum.
  • Foreign language proficiency: Provide proof of the language requirement through a certificate demonstrating completion of the English levels at the institution of origin.
  • Disciplinary situation: Not having any current disciplinary sanctions at the time of applying for the double degree.
  • Academic average: Have a cumulative weighted average equal to or greater than 3.0, according to the rating system in Colombia.

Important information

In the event that the UM student did not complete the required two academic semesters of stay To obtain the dual degree, your participation will be considered as student mobilityLikewise, if the student will fail at least one course during the first semester, must return to their institution of origin, this period being considered as student mobility with recognition and transfer of credits.
