The Department of International Relations of the UM together with San Ignacio University (Miami), invite all UM students who wish to live a unique experience in Walt Disney World

The Disney Exchange Program offers the possibility of studying 5 subjects related to the subject at a North American university. marketing, business and entrepreneurship and work on Walt Disney World Resort, in Orlando Florida.

The approximate duration of the program is 6 months, starting on July 01, 2024 and ending on January 2, 2025.

The first 2 weeks of the program, students will study 2 face-to-face courses at San Ignacio University (Miami), and later they will move to Orlando to work at Disney, where they will also continue studying the remaining 3 subjects online.

Development of the program


The first two weeks, students will take 2 subjects at SIU Miami and 3 subjects online while they are at Disney.
After the first two weeks in Miami, the students will travel to Disney (Orlando) To carry out the rented internships for 5 and a half months, they will live in the housing that the corporation has within the parks.
The subjects taken during this program: They are usually related to Business, Management, Marketing, among others. For instance:

1. Business Management (On-site at SIU)
2. Marketing Management (On-site at SIU)
3. Negotiation (Online, while the student works at Disney)
4. Intro to Customer Service (Online, while student works at Disney)
5. Human Resources Management (Online, while the student works at Disney)

*Students who have subjects related to their degree course may consult with their academic secretaries if it is possible that any of them will be recognized for the subjects that they must still take in their degree courses.

  1. Be an active college student
  2. Age 18 years
  3. Intermediate-advanced English level
  4. Good academic and disciplinary performance
  5. Autonomous and responsible attitude
