RIDUM is a system that begins with the operation of a main institutional digital repository, managed by the Universidad de Mendoza, compatible with internationally adopted interoperability standards (communication with other repositories), guaranteeing free access to its documents and data via the Internet or other information technologies, facilitating the necessary conditions for the protection of the rights of the institution and of the authors over the production of knowledge. The technical implementation of the DSpace platform is currently underway.
